Roswell Backyard Renovation and Outdoor Design

Integrated lights illuminate a long outdoor kitchen with a ceramic cooker, sink and stainless-steel cabinets at dusk.

Your backyard may have good individual features and still fall short of the way your family wants to live. Perhaps the patio is too small, the yard lacks privacy, water collects after storms, or separate improvements do not feel connected.

Outdoor Makeover & Living Spaces helps Roswell homeowners rethink the complete property. We create outdoor environments that support family life, entertaining, relaxation, recreation, and a stronger connection to nature.

Design That Connects the Entire Yard

A complete plan considers how people move through the property, where they gather, how different spaces relate to one another, and which infrastructure issues need to be solved before finishes are selected.

Your project may include:

  • Landscape transformation
  • Patios, walkways, and stonework
  • Retaining walls and steps
  • Outdoor kitchens and dining areas
  • Porches, decks, and pergolas
  • Fire features
  • Lighting
  • Drainage and erosion control
  • Recreation spaces
  • Pool surroundings
  • Comprehensive backyard renovation

The result should feel like one intentional environment—not a series of unrelated additions.

Designing for Roswell Properties

Roswell homes often benefit from designs that respect established architecture, mature landscaping, tree cover, property elevation, and natural surroundings. These factors can create character, but they can also affect sunlight, drainage, access, privacy, and usable space.

We consider these conditions early so that the finished plan balances beauty, function, and long-term performance.

Thoughtful Planning Before Construction

The Client Concierge will ask how you plan to use the property, who will regularly use it, which features matter most, and what has prevented you from moving forward.

After understanding the full project, we recommend the consultation that best fits the property and scope. This guided approach helps homeowners make confident decisions before materials are ordered or construction begins.

Design

Elevate includes a preliminary sketch and project estimate. Lifestyle and Legacy include a 2D digital design, with one and three included revisions respectively. An optional 3D design add-on is available with Lifestyle and Legacy for an additional $500; it is not available with Elevate. Your designer confirms the scope, deliverables and timing for your property.

Confirm coverage for your property

Service coverage is based on specific ZIP codes, not city boundaries or a mileage radius. Check our service ZIP-code directory, then share your property address with our Client Concierge to confirm availability and project fit.

Our Process

Can you redesign only part of our property?

Yes. Focused projects may be appropriate when the area is relatively contained and does not require extensive coordination with the rest of the site.

Can you prepare a larger plan that we build over time?

Yes. A phased plan can be valuable when the eventual project includes multiple spaces or services.

Do you work around mature trees?

We evaluate trees, roots, shade, drainage, and construction access as part of the design process. Recommendations depend on the condition and location of the trees.

Do you offer support after construction?

Outdoor Makeover provides a one-year support guarantee, along with aftercare guidance relevant to the completed project.
