Brookhaven Outdoor Living Design-Build Services
When your property is an important part of how you entertain and spend time at home, disconnected improvements are rarely enough. The patio, landscape, lighting, cooking area, and architecture should feel like parts of the same environment.
Outdoor Makeover & Living Spaces creates custom outdoor spaces for Brookhaven homeowners who value thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and a clear process.
Outdoor Spaces With Purpose
We begin by understanding what the space needs to accomplish. You may want an intimate setting for family dinners, a larger environment for entertaining, a more welcoming front yard, or a complete backyard that accommodates cooking, gathering, play, and relaxation.
Services may include:
- Landscape design and installation
- Patios and walkways
- Outdoor kitchens
- Fire features
- Porches, decks, and pergolas
- Retaining and seating walls
- Drainage and grading
- Outdoor lighting
- Recreation areas
- Pool surroundings
- Complete outdoor transformations
Planning for Brookhaven Homes
Brookhaven properties can require careful space planning because additions, mature landscaping, grade changes, existing hardscapes, and neighboring properties may all affect the design.
Privacy is often important, but it should be created without making the property feel enclosed. Planting, structures, screening, elevation, and lighting can work together to create comfort and separation.

Our Bluffhaven Way project brought together composite deck replacement, new stairs, a refreshed screened porch and an outdoor kitchen with a grill, sink and countertop. Yard leveling, drainage and a gravel pathway supported the connected outdoor spaces. Explore the Brookhaven deck, porch and outdoor kitchen case study for project details and photos.
A Consultative Approach
Our Client Concierge does more than take a list of desired features. The conversation explores how you live, what currently frustrates you, who will use the space, your timeline, and the anticipated investment.
This information allows our team to recommend the planning process that best fits your project.
OUR LANDSCAPE SERVICE OPTIONS INCLUDES
Consult
Start with our Client Concierge to discuss your goals, property, scope and anticipated investment. We confirm service availability and recommend the appropriate paid consultation: Elevate ($99), Lifestyle ($249) or Legacy ($499).
Design
Elevate includes a preliminary sketch and project estimate. Lifestyle and Legacy include a 2D digital design, with one and three included revisions respectively. An optional 3D design add-on is available with Lifestyle and Legacy for an additional $500; it is not available with Elevate. Your designer confirms the scope, deliverables and timing for your property.
Build
After you approve the design and written construction proposal, our project team coordinates the work, materials and relevant specialists. We explain project-specific timing, keep you informed and document approved scope changes as your outdoor space takes shape.
Satisfy
At the final walkthrough, we explain the installed features and care instructions and review the applicable written warranty terms. Your project team remains your contact for follow-up questions, so you can enjoy the completed space with confidence.

Our Process
Can you renovate both the front and backyard?
Yes. A comprehensive plan can address arrival, curb appeal, circulation, entertaining, privacy, drainage, and backyard use.
Can you add privacy without installing a solid wall?
Often, yes. Layered planting, trees, screens, structures, elevation changes, and strategic placement can create privacy while preserving openness.
Do you install outdoor lighting?
Yes. Lighting may improve safety, navigation, architectural emphasis, atmosphere, and the ability to use the space after sunset.
Do you provide a warranty?
Outdoor Makeover provides a one-year support guarantee for completed work, subject to the applicable project terms.
